Tim and Mike had a lot in common. Tired of working for somebody else who didn’t take his creative ideas seriously, he decided to jump ship and go it alone with his very own creative agency away from the corporate bullshit and wax moustache. He chose us to brand him up as we have a very similar way of thinking. We are all about standing out rather than fitting in and doing the projects that people say you can’t/ shouldn’t/ wouldn’t. His brand needed to reflect his quirky character and his unique sense of humour, lets get the submarine rolling.
A NORTHERN BRITISH CHAP
Up front and truthful the Mike Emmett brand has an different honest opinion with an outrageous and authentic sense of humour. He is a friendly, quirky, authentic and creative Northern British chap who finds humour in things that other people don’t . The logo is the visual cornerstone of the branding. While some logos are complex, fussy and elaborate here I’ve created a memorable one that is simplistic. Instead of relying on detailed graphics and icons, this minimal logo relies on creative type and clever negative space to tell the story.
BE TRUE TO YOURSELF
We don’t like to blow our own trumpet but our branding was that good, it got mike himself headhunted by another agency who porched him with an offer he couldn’t refuse. We told Mike from the start that its always better to be yourself and that money is the devils work. Mike if your reading this, its not too late to come back to the light.
