Building a brand is like packing a suitcase: Plan out what you think you need and then remove half. Branding is in your customer promise, your business values, your personality, the way you talk and interact with your customers. It's in the way you package your service and even in the way you answer your phone. We met Danny Birch back in 2012 in a cosy studio in Mossley, with little to no client base but 100% passion and dedication. An artist through and through, right to the very core, we set out to create a brand that pulled the artist to the forefront of his practice and hopefully change the perception of tattoo artists after all its so much more than you’re stereotypical skulls and tribal.
PLAYING YOUR CARDS RIGHT
We were sick of how tattoo artists were being portrayed and the way in which so many people today walk into a studio, pick out an image from the wall that has been tattooed hundreds of times and then its with them for life. Where is the creativity? Where is the art? And so heart for Art was born, without a skull or cross bone in sight! Yeah sometimes we can be seen as the Joker in the deck, but we always manage to King it.
NOW LETS TAKE THAT SHIZZ TO PRINT
So you’re brand is complete, you have and understand you’re foundations, money exchanged, thanks, see you later. Nope, that’s just not how we roll. We are in this for the long haul! We hang our hat on each and every brand we create and it doesn’t just stop once the design process has finished. We encourage our clients to push their brands to where we believe they can go. A few clever marketing pushes later and we saw Heart for Art blossom over night. Its what we do best… you’re welcome.
